drinks yearbook | 33 More than just providing data, we help you construct and drive category, brand and joint plans between manufacturer and retailers. Through the drinks association, we have built an in-depth entry-level industry program to enable all liquor companies to understand and action shopper based plans. As part of this and in tailored resourcing for companies, we work with suppliers connecting their plans better with the trade, helping them to land their brand plans based on what’s right for shopper and retailer in the category. We also work directly with key retailers in Australia, including in liquor, to help them drive central strategic operation (e.g. catalogue) through to segment and banner level decisions (e.g. range review process). Shopper Tracker is a quantitative measurement research programme based on shopper interviews, covering all major liquor categories and retailers in one consistent benchmarking process. We interview over 20,000 liquor shoppers, tracked every year. We provide objective, comparative data on who liquor shoppers are, what they want and how satisfied they are at a segment level in each retail banner, together with a range of attitude and behavioural metrics.
