As part of the program, those who passed police breath-tests were issued tickets giving them an opportunity to enter various prize draws at participating regional pubs. The move was designed to reward those drivers who do the right thing when on the road. Social responsibility The Blewett Review was released in January, calling for the introduction of point-of-sale health warnings in bars and containing a total of 61 recommendations for food and drink labeling. Beer giant Lion Nathan backed the report, announcing it would be printing a responsible drinking message on all its beer labels in Australia and New Zealand in addition to messages warning pregnant women of the dangers they face when drinking alcohol.
