Foster’s Group and Grupo Modelo extended an exclusive license to sell and market Corona Extra in Australia. Representatives of Grupo Modelo signed the multi-year agreement which was due to expire at the end of 2010. These three modern awards for the hospitality industry replace some 73 former state and federal awards with varying minimum terms and conditions, applicable to the state or territory in which an hotelier operated. The introduction of the Fair Work Act 2009 and the implementation of the new modern award and National Employment Standards has required a signifi cant educational effort.
